ASM50X/W Fails to continue after scanning the DXF file

After selecting a DXF file to translate, the ASM50X product will read your file and it suppose to show you a list of layers and blocks in the file. It should also enable the next option in the main menu called Configure Translator.

In some cases it will not activate the next option and that will happen when AutoCAD locks the DXF file you are trying to translate.

If that is the case, you need to quit AutoCAD, and then try reading the file again to the translator.
