If the DXF file is in INCHES (translating to GDSII UM), a larger Grid value is needed and the Scale Factor must be changed to 25,400. Otherwise, data in the drawing may not look correct when viewed.

If the DXF file is in units of MM (translating to GDSII in units of UM), a Grid value of 100,000 is suggested and the Scale Factor must be set to 1,000.
