MALY to TIFF is a converter which translates the a MALY Job deck along with the accompanying OASIS files to a raster TIFF image. The MALY format is defined by SEMI's P45 specification for Job Deck Data Format for Mask Tools.
After reading the MALY job deck the program rasterizes each OASIS file and stores the image (at the user specified resolution) to disk. It then transforms and places each bitmap per the instructions found in the MALY file. The final TIFF image can be used to preview the mask defined by the MALY instructions.
The translator does not create a complete intermediate layout file in any vector format such as OASIS or GDSII - this is because generating such a file is difficult given the potential polarity transformations found in the MALY instruction set.
