Section 508 Policy

The Rehabilitation Act of 1973 requires Federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act was enacted to help facilitate disabled individuals’ access to electronic and information technology by removing barriers to their ability to access such technology.

While the law does not regulate the software industry or require companies to alter their products, Section 508 offers us a strong incentive to add or enhance accessibility features in our products and establish accessibility standards that any technology must endeavor to meet before a Federal agency can purchase it.

Artwork Conversion Software supports the goals of Section 508; we are committed to applying our expertise to make our products more accessible to everyone: those with with disabilities or age-related impairments. Our commitment allows us to assist the Federal government in making accessible technology choices.

If you fall under one of the impaired or disabled categories (or work on behalf of those who do) and wish to make suggestions on how we can improve our software to better serve you, please contact us by email: support@artwork.com or telephone us at our corporate headquarters: 831 426-6163.
