Flexlm error -15 "Operation Now in Progress"

One of our clients reported an error when trying to start the lmgrd on a Linux server.

(artwork) Vendor daemon can't talk to lmgrd, -15,570 . "Operation now in Progress".
Existing Due to Signal 37.

Solution

The error had to do with incorrect IP address in the hosts file. Putting the correct IP address with the server hostname fixed the issue.
