Micronic's mask writers can image high resolution glass masks up to 1 x 1 meter in size. Artwork now provides a translator from ODB++ into Micronic's proprietary mask data format.
ODB++ files can be produced from virtually every PCB tool. Micronic's latest generation of laser imagers can directly read ODB++ using Artwork's new converter. The converter is available on both Windows and Linux operating systems.
The ODB++ spec can hold more than one board layout and it can hold a complete stepped panel which includes the board and various additonal items such as thieving slots, targets, ID's and such. Of course, it can hold multiple "layers" for each layer of the multi-layer board.
