Tcl/Tk Example

To illustrate how the Qckvu Image Server works we've written a tiny Tcl/Tk program that sends commands to Qckvu over the socket.

Starting Up Qckvu

starting qckvu

The first step in running the demo is to start up the version of qckvu that has the TCP/IP socket. On the command line you must include the listening TCP/IP port.

Qckvu will start up, but there is no drawing loaded. It is however, listening on port 5000 for any commands that might be sent by a client.
